How would you describe your floral design style?

Organic and balanced, unfussy but refined. The House Finch vibe is garden- and nature-inspired with layered florals and interesting textures and color combinations. We love arrangements that are thoughtfully designed but not overly manipulated. Call them “wild, but with manners.”

What are your rates? Do you offer packages or is everything customized?

Our pricing is completely customized for each and every one-off order, home, business, event and wedding. It all depends on what the client wants — the logistics, and the event size, the desired flowers. Our aim is always to ensure that you are getting maximum floral bang for your buck.

Where do you source your flowers & branches from?

Whenever possible, we source from local growers and small farms. Sustainability and supporting local businesses is always a priority. If a requested variety is exotic or out of season locally, we will source out-of-state or internationally.

Can you provide organic, pesticide-free, or sustainably-grown flower varieties?

Yes. If this is something that you are passionate about, we will go out of our way to make it happen.

Do you travel for weddings & events?

Yes! Have passport. Will travel. We have experience with destination weddings and events, and can incorporate the look, feel, and history of your location into our nuanced design.

What is the largest wedding/event size you can accommodate?

The sky’s the limit. House Finch can handle weddings and events of all sizes. We bring the same attention to detail to events both large and small. We love our 150-person-or-less weddings as much as we love our elaborate, 300+ person affairs. And we get equally excited about designing for intimate dinner parties, too.

What is the lead time required for floral orders for private residences, businesses, & events?

We require a lead time of 72 hours for all orders and event design, unless it’s a really big event or wedding. But we’ve been known to make some beautiful magic happen on a tight deadline. Always ask. If the market is open, we can be speedy when we need to be.

What is your refund policy if for some reason I need to cancel my order?

We require a 50 percent, non-refundable deposit — the industry standard — that is due at the time of signing our contract. Once you pay the deposit and book with House Finch, we begin researching and sourcing your florals and decor immediately. Plus, if you are hiring us for a large event, you are locking us in for your date (meaning we are no longer available for other events on that day).
